Gather Ye Rosebuds While Ye May
Summer is slipping away.
There are little signs. The kids playing in the fountain, trying to squeeze every last minute of summer sunlight out of each day before the dreaded morning when the school bus arrives.
The increased traffic to and from work, due to the back-to-school and back-from-Labor Day-vacation crowds.
The light jacket I've started dragging with me in the morning, to throw over my shoulders in the evening.
Another summer gone, another autumn ahead.
Where has the time gone?
If you're looking for me this weekend, I'll be in the Park, trying to soak up the sun's rays while they're still around.
Stop and smell the flowers. #
