Random Thoughts on a Rainy Friday
My posting has been spotty lately, and will continue to be. My job has been very, very busy. Enjoying it immensely, but the learning curve is still steep, so things are hectic.
So there hasn't been too much excitement in my life otherwise.
But I have collected the following random thoughts:
ONE: I just saw a movie that changed my life. It was Murderball. This movie was nominated for an Oscar in 2005.
I laughed, I cried. It was an amazing experience. I urge you to run, run, run to the video store and rent it (or click click click online at Netflix).
Tip: I think my favorite part was where the quadriplegics were talking about their sex lives. There are even excerpts from an instructional video on sex after a spinal cord injury.
TWO: To the girl who sat next to me on the train yesterday carrying the bag that said, "Hold Me; I'm a Fermata" -- I heart your bag. Where can I get me one?
THREE: I got a bad haircut a couple of weeks ago, and there's this random tuft of hair that sticks straight up on the top of my head.
I can't get it to stay down, even with hairspray and mousse.
I look like Alfalfa.
I caught a coworker staring at it yesterday. I could tell she was trying not to say anything. #
