Worth the Wait

One night earlier this week, I went to an electronics store and saw people lined up outside awaiting the midnight official release of the newest video game console.

Having never been a hormonal teenage boy (or pretty much anyone else in the developed world for that matter), I don't know much about video games.

When I was 7, my parents got me an Atari 2600 for Christmas. But I never had anything after that.

So upon seeing this crowd of people camped out in the rain, my first thought was that they were waiting in line for Cabbage Patch Kids. Or Tickle Me Elmo dolls.

That shows you how behind the times this old lady is!!

At any rate, I marched straight through the line and went into the store, where I found my dream purchase: a combination printer & copier & scanner & fax machine! Woooo..

Here it is still in the box. Those are my feet, and I'm wearing my comfy pajama bottoms.

Fancy purchase, and I didn't have to wait in line in the rain!
