Dilemma
We finally got our wedding invitations back. Contrary to my nightmares, they look lovely and are perfectly printed.
I spent the last 2 nights frantically stuffing envelopes with one of my bridesmaids.
Why is there so much crap that comes in a wedding invitation? Cardboard and vellum and smudging ink and calligraphy on the front, and a fat envelope stuffed to within an inch of its life.
My nails are ragged, jagged, rough and peeling. And my hands are covered in both papercuts AND fountain pen marks. NOTHING will remove fountain pen ink. I can't use nail polish remover, since it will make the papercuts sting. It's a big dilemma.
Yesterday I had a client meeting, and I looked down and realized for the first time my how bad my hands looked. I spent the rest of the meeting trying to hide them from view. As I was supposed to be taking notes during the meeting, this proved to be quite difficult and drew some raised eyebrows from the other attorneys.
This morning I was putting on my socks when I realized that I also have fountain pen ink on the bottom of my right foot.
How on earth did that happen???
