Douchebag!
Do you know what's funny?
When nasty opposing counsel sends a nasty email message, setting forth all of the things he refuses to negotiate on, and generally just being a jerk.
But what's even funnier, is when after reading all of those mean things, I see at the bottom of the email:
"Sent from my iPad"
Buwahahahahahahaha!!

jerks suck. i wonder how long it took him to type the email.
I hate those kinds of emails from opposing counsel. I wish I could find them funny - I'm sure it would be healthier for me than getting angry, which is what I tend to do.
A couple of days ago (regarding a divorce case) I got an email that was such a vortex of douchebaggery that I had to leave my office and go for a short walk to avoid calling the asshat back and screaming at him...which is never a good choice.
Perhaps I should learn to laugh at these things...
That's hilarious. I must say that I'm quite impressed with his typing skills.
when i worked as a tribal court advocate a long time ago, i had an opposing counsel try to bull doze me by telling me that he'd heard i was having an affair with my client who was a father already paying child support just wanting parental rights established. my response was, "fyi... we will be submitting a motion requesting the judge to recuse himself. in case your client did not tell you, she is dating the judge's son. as for the rest, see you in court. unless you decide to agree to our terms which by the way is more than reasonable." the case settled the next day. hahahaha! and, the attorney tried to apologize for his erroneous insinuations but i politely ended the conversation w/o acknowledging his attempted apology. what a poo-head!!
I can beat all of these. I got a letter last year, right before my wedding anniversary and while I was 8 months pregnant, from a plaintiff's attorney that said (paraphrase): Congrats on your wedding anniversary, I was pleasantly surprised to see that you waited a few months after your wedding to get knocked up.
I kept it and send it out ALL THE TIME when people don't believe me that it happened.
Not a laywering type here, but the iPad thing is funny, makes him seem like a teeny-bopper.
Oh, and fyi - our tree house is awaiting your visit. :)
