The Truth Revealed

Wow..it's clear to see from the comments on yesterday's post that everyone is pretty much in consensus about what my good news should be!

And to think, knowing the truth, I actually did think it was something really awesome and a big deal..

But now I'm embarrassed to be so excited about this. Something that's not a baby, but cool nonetheless.

Please forgive me in advance for disappointing everyone!

Well, here it is..

I got my black belt!

Yes, a baby would have been great news. But for now that's in God's hands. And so far it hasn't been in the cards for us yet.

But the meantime, I can kick everyone's butt while I'm waiting for that baby to show up!

I'd get mad about the misdirection, but I make a point to be especially nice to black belts.

Congratulations, THB.
Black belt is a great accomplishment.
No disappointment over here but very excited for you about your black belt. There are lots of wonderful things in life besides babies & it's up to us to recognize them.

Great news, THB; congrats on the accomplishment. And take it from me: It's much harder to beat up someone with a baby.

It IS a big deal. Congratulations. (And lots of people have babies. But hardly anyone has a black belt.) :-)

Awesome! Congratulations! That's much more exciting than all my guesses.

Awesome!! Congratulations!

Woot!! Congrats! That is completely exciting. Anybody can make a baby, but it takes a dedicated individual to earn a black belt. And aren't you glad you didn't have to do that while pregnant, or sleep deprived because you have a new baby?
