( 11:45 PM ) teahouse
All day today I felt really crappy.
I'd gotten on early, thrown on a pair of old suit pants and a blouse, and trudged to work.
As soon as I got to work, my stomach started to hurt. A dull, unremitting ache.
All afternoon, my back was aching as well. And I felt like I couldn't take a deep breath.
I had no idea what was going on!
When I got home, I told the Husband that I wasn't feeling so well, and would probably just go to bed.
So just now, I decided to take a hot shower before bed, hoping that would make me feel better.
I went in the bathroom, unbuttoned and unzipped my pants, and Voila! Suddenly all of the pain went away.
It was a miracle!
I could breathe, my stomach suddenly felt fine and my back pain evaporated.
Yes, ladies and gentlemen. I realized that my pain and discomfort were caused by one thing:
My old suit pants were too tight!#
If the shoe fits, wear it. If the pants don't, let them out! What a relief!
Yes, I guess this is how women used to feel when they had to wear corsets..
I know that feeling well. Been packing on the pounds lately and my pants are strangling my waist.
That's the worst. I think it's even worse if one realizes one's pants are too tight because then one feels fat the entire day.
