Well, I'm still here! I've been terrible about posting, I know. But I still can't give up on this blog. Even though the whole world seems to have moved on - to Facebook, and Twitter, and Google+ and whatever else is out there.
The Little One is growing by leaps and bounds, and the job is going fine, and the Husband and I are saving for our future and trying to take one day at a time.
We recently traveled to the Deep South for my high school reunion. It was unexpectedly fun.
Afterward, the Husband asked me, "You were one of the popular kids, weren't you?"
"No way!" I responded. "I was a super nerd. The cool people never talked to me."
"Well, that's not true now" he observed. "Even the cool people were excited to see you this weekend. It's because you're friendly."
