Almost 5 Months!
Sorry I've been so remiss in posting. The days really fly by nowadays!
I'm returning to work soon; I'll let you guys know how that works out.
And some not so great news - I had gestational diabetes when I was pregnant, and I expected it would go away after birth. But it did not, and now it turns out that I'm pre-diabetic!
It's meant totally changing my diet, watching my carb intake and making sure to exercise more regularly. And it's a permanent life change.
Not fun, but I lost 8 pounds in 2 weeks. Every cloud has a silver lining.
When I think about how much that sucks, I look at the little monkey, and remind myself of how lucky I am.
Here he is - he's very roly poly now. He's launched himself off his play area and onto the floor, about to roll over!

Time Flies
Hard to believe the Little One is already 4 months old!
It seems like only yesterday he was a wee little premature thing. And now he's graduated beyond the newborn diapers!
And look at all of that hair! Yes, he was born with a mullet - party in the front and back.
I'll be going back to work in not too long. I've worked out a part-time arrangement. We'll see if it ends up being totally rewarding or totally non-juggle-able and disastrous.
I'm embarking on the world of working motherhood. Anyone have any pearls of wisdom to share on juggling it all?
